The 2024 Trax comes with a turbocharged 1.2 liter inline-three cylinder engine that is paired with a six-speed automatic transmission. The engine produces 137 horsepower and 162 ft-lb of torque, and the estimated fuel economy is 30 mpg combined. The handling and overall ride quality are good for the price point. Overall performance is fair, but the main appeal for the new Trax will be it's competitive price.

The 2024 Trax comes equipped with an assortment of modern technology. Vehicle information such as the speedometer and gas gauge are clearly displayed on the available 8" driver information center. Available wireless charging will help keep your devices topped up on the go without the hassle of wires. This ups the max cargo space for this model to slightly over 54 cu ft, when properly configured. 60/40 split-folding rear seats offer increased utility when hauling larger loads. The Trax offers comfortable seating for 5 and with the standard active noise cancellation you and your passengers will get to your destination in peace and quiet.
